Victoria & CJ Say I Do in Tabernash, CO

This winter wedding has us wow’d because snow on your wedding day is a good thing! Victoria and CJ wed in true Colorado style at the Devils Thumb Ranch surrounded by 6000 acres of wilderness. The ranch boasts an untamed western landscape and experiences while offering luxurious amenities and modern comforts. It’s a gorgeous place to say I do for couples who love fresh air, clear skies and endless views.  Blankets of snow covered the ground for Victoria and CJ’s big day and it was simply breathtaking and the newlyweds enjoyed every second of it!

Tips For Keeping Kids Entertained At Your Wedding

It’s inevitable that there will be a few little ones running rampant around your wedding reception. The key to keeping them happy and out of trouble is keeping them entertained. Having a designated kids table or space that is packed with things to do is the perfect way to ensure the little ones are well cared for and the parents can enjoy the evening. Here are our tips for creating the perfect kids night out.

1. Kids Table - Creating a themed kids table will add to the excitement of attending the wedding for little ones. The theme could be anything from Disney to Summer fun. Decorate the table to match your theme and provide lots of activities for both the boys and girls. Keep them busy with games, coloring books, arts and crafts and food!

2. Entertainment - Ask the venue if there is a nearby room or space to have entertainment for the kids. Having a balloon artist or face painter is a great way to break up the night, especially if you have lots of kids attending. You can also stage a mini movie theater so the children can crash and enjoy a movie or fall asleep until the party ends.

3. Supervision - Now that you’ve got a full evening planned, you will most definitely need supervision. This could come in the form of hired babysitters or a task delegated to teenage relatives. Having 2 supervisors is best so there is always one to keep an eye on the children and the other one to go and hunt down a parent if needed.

Katie & Hassaan: A Few At The Zoo

What do you do when you work at the St. Louis Zoo? You get married there, of course! We are still obsessing over all of the amazing photos of this sweet couple's magical day in the heart of the Zoo, complete with visits from playful seals, llamas, and sharks (oh my!).

Only in Vegas!

Only in a town as crazy and spontaneous as Las Vegas could a story like this unfold. Our owner, Brian, ended up being the best man at a stranger's wedding…and it was epic.

Here's the story: Brian was in Vegas this week for a convention, and ended up chatting with a vendor at the Marketing Sherpa cocktail party Tuesday evening. Lo and behold, this gentleman's fiancee had tagged along to hang by the pool and soak in the Nevada sun before the couple was set to have their destination wedding in the Dominican Republic in 3 weeks. Two more of the couple's friends happened to be in town as well. So they were all chit-chatting about how you need to get a marriage license within the US before any desitination wedding can be legalized, and Eureka! Our boss had a brilliant idea:

"We're in Vegas, guys- why don't you get married here tonight?"

And so with the help of Brian, the bride's girlfriends (one of whom got a blue keychain as the bride's "Something Blue"- how adorbs is that?!), and Lindsey, the amazing concierge at the Cromwell Hotel, the couple's adventure began!

They were able to get their marriage license just 15 minutes before the office closed, then they hopped in a limo and headed to (where else?) The Little Chapel and were married by (who else?)…you guessed it, Elvis!

After the ceremony, they had a lovely Italian "reception", complete with toasts by the Maids of Honor as well as Brian, the groom's impromptu Best Man for the evening. Finally with "Goodnights" said at 3:30am, the adventure was over, but new life-long bonds were made.

Only in Vegas, baby! Dreams really are possible :)
